Over 80 Filipino migrants attended the milk tea production workshop organized by the Manila Economic and Cultural Office last Sunday at the Ugnayan Center in Zhongshan District, Taipei.

The workshop is part of the ongoing Negosyo MECOnnect program that aims to provide knowledge and skills to Filipinos living overseas for various meaningful means of livelihood as they prepare to return to the Philippines. 

The program was launched last August 2019 with a hands-on fishball and shrimp cake training organized by the MECO Kaohsiung office. 

The classes were split into two sessions to accommodate the large number of participants. In these sessions, they were guided on how to cook the boba and taught the proper portions of the ingredients to make a delicious drink. 

The MECOnnect program also included an investment briefing from PAGIBIG as well as a registration booth for the 2022 Overseas Absentee Voting.
