TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Philippine food companies are excited to drive once again a new set of Food brands for the Taiwan market.

FOOD TRUCK TO FOOD PAVILION: The courtship through food continues as MECO along with its Trade and Investment Center goes full speed to make the PHL not only a top-of-mind travel destination but an abundant source of food products to whet anybody's appetite.

Various PHL made products were on display during the TAIPEI FOOD MEGA SHOW which opened on Wednesday, 22 June at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. President Ing-Wen Tsai graced the first face to face food show post pandemic.

Remarkable products from sauces and condiments, Calamansi juice, canned tuna to healthy snack food and non-meat products are featured in the Food Philippines Pavilion at the Taipei International Food Show 2022 located at Tainex 2, Nangang Exhibition Center on 22-25 June.

“We are excited to share the diverse selection of food and beverage products that the Philippines has to offer in Taipei International Food Show this year. The healthy blend of products is surely a feature that the Taiwan market will definitely enjoy. We invite Taiwan companies to visit the Philippine Pavilion and see the array of exciting products that we have to offer,” said Anthony B. Rivera, Director for Commercial Affairs of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Taiwan.

In full support to the Philippine participation this year are the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) Taipei and the DTI-Export Marketing Bureau (EMB).

“We have so much to offer from the Philippines. Post pandemic we are now coming back in the Taipei International Food Show and we are confident that the featured product this year will definitely be available to the mainstream Taiwan market soon,” said Chairman Wilfredo B. Fernandez of MECO.
