Taipei, Taiwan - Six overseas Filipino workers bagged the 2021 annual search for Model Employees in Textile Weaving Industry. 

The OFWs joined the Taiwanese and other foreign workers who were presented with similar distinctions. 

Leah Santiago, Nemesio Niegos, Lander Beloya, Richelle Ballesteros, Kristel Joy Grande, and Darwin Peguracion were honored for their outstanding punctuality, obedience, and communications skills.

The Chairman of the Executive Director Board of the Taiwan Silk and Filament Weaving Industrial Association (TSFA) Yai-Ming Zhang congratulated and handed out the certificate to the awardees.   

POLO-Taipei Labor Attaché Cesar Chavez Jr. also distributed a 1000 NT cash award to each Filipino awardee.

The annual Model Employees in Textile Industry awards started in 1994 to motivate workers to further enhance their skills and improve efficiency and quality of work.
