24 August 2017, Taipei - Taiwan Minister John Deng of the Executive Yuan, and former Minister of Economic Affairs, hosts DTI Undersecretary Nora Terrado for lunch with a wide representation from top officials of other Taiwanese Ministries such as Trade, Labor, Agriculture among others. This high level meeting was organized by PTIC Taipei with the Minister's Office and was also attended by PTIC Taipei Trade Representative Michael Alfred Ignacio.

24 August 2017, Taipei - DTI Undersecretary Nora K. Terrado was hosted for a dinner meeting by her Taiwanese Counterpart Vice Minister Mei-Hua Huang of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to discuss further strengthening trade and economic relations between the PH and TW. The officials were joined by PTIC Taipei Trade Representative Michael Alfred Ignacio and other officials of Taiwan's economic agencies.

25 August 2017, Taipei - DTI Undersecretary for Trade and Investment Promotions and PTIC Taipei Trade Representative Michael Alfred Ignacio, visited New Kinpo Group CEO Mr. Simon Shen at the NKPG headquarters in Taipei to discuss the Taiwanese Conglomerate's expansion and new business plans for the Philippines. New Kinpo Group is a substantial institutional investor in the Philippines engaged in the manufacture of electronics and semiconductors. The group is opening a fourth manufacturing facility in the Philippines in addition to other new cutting-edge businesses.
