Health Cooperation

The Philippines signed an MOU with Taiwan on cooperation on health issues which provides the framework for the provision of medical services, MOA on National Health Insurance Cooperation, and MOU on Regulation of Health Products. All these resulted to a robust collaboration in the areas of social health insurance, hospital care, and systems development.

This year, MECO witnessed the signing of MOU between St. Mary’s Hospital in Yilan and St. Camillus Hospital in Calbayog, Samar and Mati, Davao. It also witnessed the signing of MOU between Gov. Celestini Gallares Hospital and Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital with Taipei City Hospital.
