The Manila Economic and Cultural Office today will start the processing for refund of the fees for unused visas issued from 10 November 2019 until 10 February 2020.

For sticker visas, the request for refund shall be accompanied by the following:

a.        Request for Refund Form (available in all MECO offices);

b.        Machine-generated Receipt (issued by MECO) reflecting payment of processing fee;

c.        Original  and photocopy of passport (data page only); and 

d.        Photocopy of the visa issued.

 

Successful visa applicants may also have the option to avail of the extension of the validity of their visas for future travel to the Philippines.

Should the client opt to request for the extension of his/her unused visa, the client will be requested to proceed to the MECO office where they obtained their visa after the travel ban is lifted and present the following:

a.        Request for Extension Form (available in all MECO offices);

b.        Machine-generated Receipt (issued by MECO) reflecting payment of processing fee;

c.        Original and photocopy of passport (data page only); and

d.        Photocopy of the visa issued.

For visas obtained through MECO’s Electronic Travel Authorization system, unused Electronic Travel Authorities (ETAs) issued from 10 January 2020 onwards are eligible for refund.

To ensure that the ETAs were unused, clients may only submit their request for refund upon expiration of their ETA.

The request for refund shall be accompanied by the following:

a.         Request for Refund Form (available in all MECO offices);

b.         Original and photocopy of passport (data page only); and

c.         Photocopy of the ETA issued. 

MECO will continue to accept applications for sticker visa provided that the applicant shall agree to the following conditions:

a.         Client is made aware and has clear knowledge of the travel ban;

b.        Client is aware that he/she shall assume the risk of not being able to travel to the Philippines by reason of the travel ban;

c.         Client is aware that under no circumstance will the processing fee be refunded in his/her favor.

MECO shall also continue to verify the Entry and Exit Records of Taiwan nationals. Previous guidelines issued on this shall apply.

只要您的簽證核發日期自20191110日至2020210日止,未經使用(沒有憑這張簽證去過菲律賓),備妥下列文件,即刻可協助您退費

          1.    退費申請表 (請至辦事處索取)

          2.    簽證費用的付款收據

          3.    護照正、影

          4.    護照上的簽證頁影本

電子簽(於網路上申請)

2020年元月10日之後核發,尚未使用的電子簽,超過有效期限之後,可備妥下列文件申請退款

          1.    退費申請表(請於辦事處索取)

          2.    護照正、影

          3.    請列印您的電子簽證一份

 簽證展延

簽證持有人也可以選擇延長已核發簽證的效期.如果您希望展延您的簽證使用期限, 您可在旅行禁令解除之後, 攜帶下列文件至辦事處,

          1.    展延申請表 (請至辦事處索取)

          2.    簽證費用的付款收據

          3.    護照正、影

          4.    護照上的簽證頁影本

展延時間會以禁令解除日期為基準, 往後順延 

本辦事處經申請人同意以下列條件將繼續收簽證申請書:

          1.    旅客有充分的知識並清楚了解旅行禁令

          2.    旅客願意承擔因旅行禁令而無法往菲律賓的風險

          3.    旅客知道在任何情況下都不會要求退款簽證處理費用
