Pursuant to Republic Act No.11641, all request for assistance cases involving OFWs (whether documented or undocumented), including legal or medical assistance, repatriation, and shipment of remains will now be under the jurisdiction of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in MECO effective 1 July 2023.

MECO-ATN shall continue to provide assistance to all other Filipinos living in Taiwan who fall within the categories of students, tourists, foreign spouses, and new immigrants.

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No.11641, lahat ng mga kaso na kinasasangkutan ng mga OFW (dokumentado man o hindi), kabilang ang legal o medikal na tulong, repatriation, at pagpapauwi ng mga labi ay sakop na ng Migrant Workers Office (MWO) sa MECO simula 1 Hulyo 2023.
