We would like to inform the public that the Manila Economic and Cultural Office in Taichung City will be downsizing its operations starting 01 January 2021.

All Consular, Notarial, and Assistance to Nationals concerns will be diverted to the Taipei and Kaohsiung offices. Only the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) services will remain available in Taichung.

For Passport renewal appointments set from 14 December 2020 onwards, please call the numbers below for rescheduling in either the Taipei or Kaohsiung extension office:

Ipinababatid sa lahat ang paglilipat ng ilang serbisyo mula sa Manila Economic and Cultural Office sa Taichung City patungo sa tanggapan sa Taipei City at Kaohsiung City mula sa 01 Enero 2021.

Ang lahat ng may pangangailangan sa Consular, Notarial, at Assistance to Nationals mula sa nasabing opisina ay maaaring tumawag o pumunta sa punong tanggapan sa Taipei o di kaya’y sa nalalabing extension office nito sa Kaohsiung.

Ang tanggapan ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) at Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) na lamang ang mananatili sa dating extension office sa Taichung.

Sa mga maapektuhan na appointment para sa passport renewal simula 14 Disyembre 2020, mangyaring makipag-ugnayan agad sa mga bilang ng telepono sa ibaba upang kayo ay ma-reschedule sa Taipei o sa Kaohsiung:

Ang MECO ay buong pagpapakumbabang humihingi ng inyong pang-unawa sa mga hakbangin na kinakailangang ipatupad sa gitna ng krisis na kinakaharap ng MECO ngayong panahon ng pandemiya.

馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處-台中分處自2021年01月01日起進行水久性業務精簡，正式停止所有簽證及文件認證等服務。僅保留勞工相關業務單位，菲律實海外就業署及海外福利署將繼續在台中提供服務。需要領事事務（簽證，護照）文件公證驗證及海外僑民協助等相關服務的民眾請至臺北或高雄中辦。
