In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, to protect the health and general welfare of its employees and the transacting public, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office will effect the following changes in its operating hours:

Effective 23 March 2020 and until further notice, all MECO offices in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung will be open only from 8am to 3:30pm, Mondays to Fridays.

MECO will no longer be open during the first and third Sundays of April and May 2020.

All affected appointments for passport renewal or OECs are advised to contact the respective MECO offices where these appointments were made for possible re-scheduling.

Please call during office hours only.

MECO will also cease to accept requests for refund of processing fees for sticker visas and Electronic Travel Authorizations.

The releasing of new Philippine passports will now start from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Mondays to Fridays.

Only confirmed appointments for passport renewal will be processed. You may set an appointment by visiting the MECO website at www.meco.org.tw.

The transacting public is highly encouraged to wear a mask, disinfect their hands, and subject themselves to a body temperature check as they enter MECO premises.

Bilang pag-iingat sa paglaganap ng COVID-19 virus, ipatutupad ng Manila Economic and Cultural Office ang mga sumusunod na pagbabago:

Simula 23 Marso 2020, lahat ng mga tanggapan ng MECO sa Taipei, Taichung, at Kaohsiung ay bukas lamang mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 3:30 ng hapon, Lunes hanggang Biyernes.

Ang lahat ng mga apektadong appointments sa pag-renew ng pasaporte o OEC ay pinapayuhang makipag-ugnay sa mga tanggapan ng MECO kung saan itinakda ang mga appointment.

Mangyaring tumawag lamang sa mga oras na bukas ang opisina.

Ang pag-release ng mga bagong pasaporte ay maguumpisa mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 3:30 ng hapon, Lunes hanggang Biyernes.

Ang mga may appointment lamang ang maaring magpa-renew ng passport. Maaari kayong mag-set ng appointment sa website ng MECO sa www.meco.org.tw.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na magsuot ng face mask, mag-disinfect ng kanilang mga kamay, at sumailalim sa temperature check bago pumasok ng tanggapan ng MECO.

因應新冠肺炎COVID19的疫情影響，為了維護前來辦公的民眾及辦事處員工的健康及權益，馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處將調整辦公時間如下：

自2020年3月23日起，台北，台中和高雄週一至週五從上午8:00至下午3:30開放；若有任何異動會再行通知。

四、五月第一及第三個週日開放給菲籍人士申辦護照及文件的日程，也全面暫停

所有受到影響的護照申辦或OEC預約日期請速與MECO領務及勞工部門尋求協助，以利重新安排。
