MECO has an Information Center which houses information resources on Philippine business, investments, trade, travel, education and culture. The Center aims to make the Philippines more widely known to more people in Taiwan and to encourage Taiwanese nationals to visit and invest in the Philippines.

To achieve this, the Center has put up a library within the Taipei Office of MECO where books, periodicals and electronic formatted materials are available for walk-in visitors during office hours. The Center also provides link-up services for information and other resources on the Philippines of call-in, walk-in and/or write-in visitors. In this regard, the Center works closely with other sections of MECO as well as with the government agencies and private entities operating in Taiwan. The Center can refer prospective investors, traders, tourists and students to concerned entities/agencies both in Taiwan and in the Philippines regarding specific queries.
